  • What do you need from me?

  • I work mainly from digital photographs that are sent to my email address at steve@terrellart.com
If you prefer, an on-site visit or consultation can be arranged. In these cases the visit will be priced separately from the artwork.

  • My pictures are not very clear. Can you use them anyway?

  • I will let you know after looking at them whether they can be used. You may have to change the Megapixel setting in your camera to a higher level to insure higher resolution pictures. It is generally better to take your pictures in sunlight and early in the morning or late afternoon to insure better contrast and shadows.

  • In my photos, there are tree branches that obscure part of the house. Is that a problem?

  • The tree can be "trimmed", of course, in the rendering. But so that I will know what the missing detail looks like, just walk closer to the house, in front of the branch, and take a photo of the detail that can't be seen in the other photo. Send both to me. This goes for any other obstruction in a photo.

  • My photos were taken in the winter and I want a summer view with leaves.

  • That's no problem. I can add leaves to the trees and green to the shrubs and grass. If you want flowers in bloom, just let me know a little about the species and colors.

  • Do you mat the picture?

  • Yes, double-matting and insertion in a sealable clear sleeve is included in the price. If you don't need a mat, I deduct its cost.

  • What are your prices and sizes?

  • I will send my price and instruction sheet to you by email. That will answer most of your questions.

  • What form of payment do you take?

  • I honor VISA and Mastercard, which information should be called, not emailed, at the time of order.

  • When can I expect a rendering to be finished?

  • Once I have all the information I need, I can usually finish a picture within one week. The method of shipping is up to you but I typically mail art using USPS Priority Mail. This is a two-day service to most locations.
